Congressman Kean visited the Greenwich Elementary School met with Mayor Bob Barsony, Police Chief Richard Hummer, SRO Kate Proscia-Berger, Sergeant Sean McLaughlin, Principal Nichole Hutnik and Superintendent Tina Neely ahead of the FY25 appropriations discussion. Congressman Kean requested $89,243.00 for Greenwich Township in this year’s FY25 appropriation process, which has already passed the House Appropriations Committee.
This funding would be used for the purchase of a police vehicle that will be utilized by the Township’s school resource officer and will help in continuing to ensure a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students, staff, and residents.
Students gave Congressman Kean a tour of the school and shared how much they love working with SRO Kate Proscia- Berger!
