GES PRETZEL 🥨 PALOOZA
You have until Friday, November 3rd to get you order in! Glazed or Salt Pretzels are $4 each. Pretzel delivered on Wednesday, November 8th.
Students throughout the district were excited about the Student Vote happening on Election Day, November 7, 2023 at SMS. Students are invited with their family to vote at the booths on what teacher they want to be "Principal for a Day". Homerooms districtwide having 75% participation will receive a sweet snack!
School Store committee purchases all items sold within a budget, prices to make a small profit, and they make sure the store runs smoothly! All with as little help as possible!

GES: First School store of the year today!
SMS Cardmaking club has recently completed their first session of the club. These students created some amazing pieces of art. We cannot wait to see what our students make in the next session!
Card Club session B has 5 seats available. The next session starts on November 6th. Anyone interested should get the form and payment in to Ms. Gary as soon as possible. Club forms are available on Genesis.
Our SMS National Junior Honor Society has been working hard so far this year at improving our community. So far, students have visited the "Grow-a-Row" to aid in their annual harvest. This past weekend, 20 NJHS members worked for 2 hours each cleaning up our community for all to enjoy.
Great job NJHS, and our facilitators Mrs. Evanowski and Ms. Piazza!
Today, students of SMS and GES had an assembly by GoGreen BMX, who spoke of the importance of dreaming big, working hard, staying motivated, and saying no to negative influences. It is an incredibly important and positive message for all to hear.

The SLA had their first Pretzel Palooza of the year this past Friday! They have to run the whole fundraiser with little assistance from me and did a great job! We thank all that supported us by buying a pretzel!
The October 18th Board agenda is now featured on Board Docs. The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm in the gym at the Greenwich Elementary School. GES SPIRIT WEAR UPDATE: I spoke with the printing company today and they told me they had to push the delivery of our Spirit Wear orders to next week. He apologized for the delay. I will hand them out as soon as i get them in. Thank you

The FUN RUN was a great success, not only for what was raised for the PTO, but it was truely a fun event for the students!
