As the GTSD prepares for the 2023 November election and March 2024 referendum, we would love your help. Can you come up with a catchy slogan for our lawn signs. We are looking to pass Two Questions in November, adding a music and art teacher and adding 3 basic skills instructors to our staff. In March we are looking to pass a referendum to support the upkeep and rehab of our buildings. Here are some samples: Vote YES. For Greenwich Schools. Vote YES. Support what kids need. Vote YES. Let's Give a Warm Welcome to Our New Staff at SMS! Mrs. Tracey Simmonds is joining us as our new 7th grade science teacher. A familiar face as she has worked in our district in other capacities, she has experience teaching biology across multiple levels. She has a love for the arts, and wants to inspire students to Share that passion. She plans on creating engaging labs, and cultivate a positive classroom environment for each student.

She has experience in teaching life skills to high school students, and has recently earned an Autism K-12 endorsement. She is incredibly positive, inspiring, and dedicated to working with families to help each student in her care.

Let's Give a Warm Welcome to Our New Staff at GES. We are excited to have you on Our Team! Welcome Ms. Micaela Piell! Ms. Piell is a Special Education Teacher who will be working with 5th Grade. She comes to us with previous experience working as an elementary special education teacher. She is an extremely positive and enthusiastic teacher looking to make a difference in students’ lives through engaging classroom lessons.

Mrs. Blaszczyk is a Special Education Teacher who will be working with Preschool students. She comes to us with previous special education experience, as well as being an ABA Therapist. Mrs. Blaszczyk is excited to expand her teaching career by working with our youngest students. Her passion and positivity will shine through this year.
